A member asked:

Difference between allergies and cold i have mild allergies, and it started out mild this year, but two days ago it got 2x worse. cold or bad allergy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Infection/reaction: A cold is typically due to a viral infection, which has to run its course. Allergies are your body's natural reaction to airborne particles, such as pollen. Can be controlled with some allergy medication that can be obtained over the counter. Hope this helps!
