Been diagnosed with an allergy to the cold (@age 14) i am now 35 and through the years it has worsened. the hives are all over during a breakout and shortness of breath and light headedness. why is it getting worse? pills only help the itching?

Consider immunotherapy and treatment options including steroids after discussing with your PCP and Allergist. Allergy testing and Pulmonary Function testing may be ordered. Your shortness of breath may be related to bronchial constriction. Please follow up.
