Breast MRI: MRI of the breast can help clarify findings seen on a regular mammogram. No test is perfect, and sometimes tests are complimentary in terms of the information they give. Make sure to follow up with the ordering doctor when complete. Hope this helps!

Calcifications: arrayed in a linear fashion can sometimes indicate cancer. If the calcifications are mammographically suspicious, they should be biopsied regardless of the MRI findings. The MRI may help sort out whether there is abnormality in more than one area, or help determine the extent, since it looks like you have had DCIS on the right, a lump on the left, and a separate mammo abnormality on the left
