Which type of tumors can a dentist see with a full mouth xray?

Loss of bone: X-rays are particularly good at picking up the loss of bone. Anything that breaks down bone will show up, as long as the x-ray covers that area.

Bone changes: Radiographs show hard tissues, so we look for any abnormalities in the bone. There are many things that are benign, and a few that are not.
