It's not easy!: If it were easy to lose weight, the weight-loss industry would not be a multibillion-dollar industry. The only way that works is long-term changes in caloric intake and exercise. I tell my patients they should never try for more than a half pound of weight loss per week, and that maintenance of weight is a lifelong endeavor. Your doctor should be able to provide guidance.
