THC use: It is not safe to use THC. I am not sure how you will use this during the root canal treatments as your mouth will be open.

No: Adding smoke into the mouth when it is trying to recover is unsanitary and likely will effect the healing process. As for the second question, it is unlikely to cause more pain, but increase the risk of infection which will be extremely painful should the surgical site become infected.
