Yes: The roots of the upper back teeth end at the floor of the sinus. Sometimes sinus infections or congestion a can cause tooth pain. Since your dentist evaluated your teeth see your MD for a sinus evaluation.

If facets & crazing: are present in your teeth, be more aware if you are clenching too hard under stress or grinding your teeth at night. The results of some parafunctional habits can also result to a toothache feeling if there's TMJ or bite problem. This is another scenario besides the possible sinuses issues.

Yes, CBCT Required: I agree with the previous doctor's answer, but your Dentist or ENT are the best to deal with this issue, not a Primary Care MD. You would need a CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) scan done and evaluated by one of the above doctors, or by a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist. Medication(s) may cure, although in severe cases surgery may be indicated.
