More info needed..: Did the pain in your sinus start immediately after the extraction? How is the wound healing? Do you have sinus issues? The sinus pain may or may not be related to the extraction depending on the answers to these questions. Seek the guidance of an oral surgeon or ENT specialist.

See oral surgeon: Was the tooth that was removed an upper tooth? The roots of upper teeth may have close approximation with the sinus. Have an oral surgeon evaluate the area. It might need more time to heal, there might be a perforation in the sinus or this can be completely unrelated and you need the services of an ENT.

Not uncommon: The roots of the upper back teeth are always in close approximation to the maxillary sinus. Dry sockets rarely happen after extraction of upper teeth unless the patient is a smoker. Take NSAID or Tylenol (acetaminophen) and be patient. If symptoms persist or reoccur, it is imperative that you call your dentist-surgeon.
