Daily Ankle Exercise: For my patients who have chronic ankle sprains, I recommend daily ankle stretching and exercises. The most thorough and informative ankle exercise regimen I have found is from www.orthoinfo.org. Specific page is http://testyoc.aaos.org/topic.cfm?topic=A00672. Website is run by the Americal Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and has many great patient resources. Good Luck. - Dr Smith

Depends: I would use ankle braces for exercise activity or you may need a pair of orthotics to support the foot and control the foot motion. May want sot see a podiatrist for exam
