TMJ treatment: TMJ can have many causes. Treatment should be directed at the underlying problem. It could be tissue problem, bony problem, or both. Treatment should be directed at your specific problem. The treatment could entail a mouthpiece , physical therapy, or combination of both. If treatment is not successful , surgery may be recommended.
