Monochorionic twins: unless your obstetrician has a lot of experience taking care of monochorionic twins, I would see a specialist because these pregnancies can be somewhat high risk, with concern for preterm delivery, inadequate fetal growth, and complications of delivery due to changes in the fetal heart tracing related to having to share a single placenta. hope that helps.
