Rhinoplasty: It should not hurt to go to bathroom after a rhinoplasty unless you become constipated from narcotic pain meds like vicodin. That can cause nasal pain on straining. More importantly you have to be careful to not bang your nose by mistake while cleaning it, eating an apple or burger, a dog jumping on you or a child sitting in your lap that can head bang you by mistake.

No: Rhinoplasty does not cause pain during voiding. However, to limit the risk of precipitating a nosebleed, straining should be avoided, both in the bathroom and during activity for the first 10-14 days after surgery.
