Probably Gingivitis: Tenderness indicates inflammation as in gingivitis or infected mucus cyst. Pl get it examined soon for treatment, such as antibiotic and anti inflammatory meds that may be indicated.

Possible infection: Lump on the gums under a tooth could mean that you have an infection of the tooth or the gum. The bump may go and come back but that doesn't always mean that infection is gone. You need to see a dentist to figure out the cause.

See your dentist: Some conditions like large lump under your teeth may require further assessment; tests and your doctor may schedule a follow-up appointment or refer you to a specialist to determine a diagnosis. See your dentist for consultation.

Lots of things: Tooth infection, gum infection, viral infection such as herpes, mucocele, etc. sorry, not enough information. You really have to be physically examined. Go see a professional, a Dentist, as soon as possible.

Large Lump: So hard to diagnose conditions without any history, an exam, radiographs, your age, etc. Best bet is to see a local dentist for treatment.
