Infection: It's most likely a periodontal (gum) problem or an infection from one or both of the teeth or......It may simple be an inflamed incisive papillae. There is normally a small bump behind your two front teeth on the palate where a nerve exits. If you burned or irritated it with some food or a toothbrush, it would feel like a sore bump.You will need to see a dentist in person to know for sure. See dds.

See dentist: If this is behind the top teeth, this is probably your incisive papilla. It can be traumatized easily; usually it gets burned when eating pizza. It is best to get this checked by a dentist for final diagnosis.
