Eustachian tube dysf: As Dr. Gallia noted, it takes a while for antibiotics to work. Sometimes, they don't work b/c viruses won't respond to antibiotics (like putting diesel fuel in gasoline engine). Without examination, I can only speculate but Eustachian tube dysfunction can also make ears feel clogged: common occurrence w/quick changes in altitude leading to pressure differences. Antihistamines might help this.

Ear Infection: it takes time for the infection and the fluid to be absorbed from the middle ear. Your Eustachian tube is also inflamed. Try blowing up a balloon several times a day and using OTC steroid nasal spray.

Be patient: People today want instant cures, and that is fine but not realistic. Clogged ears with middle ear infections can take 4-6 weeks to unclog or longer, even with the best treatment. What's wrong is your expectation that the right diagnosis and treatment will fix it quickly. It doesn't work that way.
