Need more informatio: Why did you have your blood test done in the first place? One common cause for high wbc is infection....so we need to know if you feel entirely well or you have any symptoms of any illness like: weakness, tired, weight loss, change in appetite. WBC count: WBC count includes both neutrophils, lymphocytes and eosinophils. Elevations in any or all of thees may be behind your results. Stress, some drugs (e.g. steroids) could make neutrophils go up. But low grad leukemias might also rarely present in your age group, so checking the proportion of the cell types should be sought.
