Surgery may help: The HIDA scan you describe sounds like there was stimulation of the gallbladder to contract. Normal values are usually 35% or more. When that doesn't happen thereay be symptoms. There have been many patients tell me after surgery they feel great. A few have told me otherwise . Both your doctor and surgeon think this will help. Worth listening to them
