Lots of options...: Have you undergone upper endoscopy to rule out gastric or duodenal disease or colonoscopy to assess the hepatic flexure of the large bowel? Do you have underlying irritable bowel syndrome? Is your distress worsened or improved by meals, activity, deep breathing, palpation of ribs? Have you suffered any physical trauma recently to the area? What medications have been tried, & which have helped?

R/o other causes : Ultrasound exam showed absence of calculi and sludge if normal. Normal ct means liver, pancreas, and spleen are normal. Sometimes endoscopy of stomach and duodenum is necessary to rule out other etiologies of pain in this area. 83% ejection fraction is usually considered norma. There is a small group of individuals reported with hyperfunctioning gb and symptoms improve with gb surgery.
