Hida -ef at 31, endoscopic us showed a stone in cystic duct, elevated liver enzymes, & nausea. surgeon suggested surgery & ic. can stone be removed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cystic duct: The stone needs to come out or you risk a serious infection, developing. Laparoscopic removal of the gallbladder and the duct may be possible and has a shorter recovery. Your surgeon can advise you on this issue.
