Masses bad or good?: A "Mass" doesn't mean cancer. sometimes masses are totally benign. Like fatty tumor or Lipomas under the skin. Sometimes just by looking we can determine if it is a bad mass or not. sometimes it requires testing with pathology. Normal if there is concern scans or biopsies can be helpful
