Burst eardrum: The clear fluid is from the middle ear normally walled off by the ear drum, which has been perforated in your case. Could be due to trauma (aggressive with the qtip?) or infection. Cleaning with otc ear wax solution is usually safer and more effective than using qtips. Would be worthwhile to have this looked at because antibiotic may be indicated. Otherwise, yes, leave it b
