My husband has dry scalp on top of his head it is now oozing a clear liquid. and i his doc. thinks its from not wearing a hat during the summer. it itches and he keeps irritating it

This : This may be actinic changes due to sun exposure. Initial sun damage can be manifested by dry scaly patches. If he is scratching this area it may be "weeping" or producing a serous discharge. You husband should be evaluated by a dermatologist because sun damage could lead to skin cancer. Recommend that he use sun screen with a spf of 45 and wear a hat.
