Cyst: Sounds like a developmental cyst of some type. You will likely need a simple surgical procedure likely as an outpatient. See an otolaryngologist or ear, nose, and throat surgeon.

Pre auricular sinus: You may have a preauricular sinus tract which is usually congenital in origin. See an ENT specialist to see about getting it removed.These tracts have a tendency to get infected.
