Yes and no.: Sorry for lack of straight answer, but not a straightforward question. Compared to fructose and sucrose sweetened foods, Stevia will have less effect on raising glucose levels. But like any artificial sweetener, it can cause you to crave sweets and starchy foods, and lead to overeating, gaining weight, and higher sugar levels. It can perpetuate a "sweet tooth" and keep you craving sweet foods.
