My father is diabetic and i'm pretty sure he's been on every available med at one time or another. he still can't get his numbers under 300. is there any vitamin or anything else that can help?

Lifestyle: Meds only do part of the job. Talk to your dad and see what you can do to help him have an optimal lifestyle for his diabetes.
Make sure he is following a low glycemic index diet as recommended to him and look into the ada website for ideas. Look for hidden sources of sugar, carbs and stress.
Make time to help him exercise, and if needed loose weight, before you embark on trying to add more pills.
