A member asked:

I have a small hole near the heel of my foot. filled with skin. hurts when put pressure on. what is it and how do i get rid of it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Porokeratoma: Hello Tiffani: This is most likely a small Porokeratoma discreta (painful "hole" filled with callous tissue), a small wart or perhaps even an old scar with callus over it. The "poros" are common in th heel and sometimes will respond to over the counter wart medication. If it persists, your foot specialist has several treatment options. Good luck.
