Plantar wart likely: At your age most likely it is a plantar wart or a callus buildup but you need to be sure you don't have a forgein body stuck in your toe. Check with your family doctor or podiatrist.

Wart, corn ,cyst: Hard to tell without examining, but these are some possibilities in addition to foreign body reaction if you stepped on something.

This is difficult: To asess by descrition and in person would be easily diagnosed. But, based on description you can have a wart, or a corn. Due to the fact we can't see it, i would recommend you see a podiatrist who will have a diagnosis for you upon seeing it.
