Start w/ exam: Start w/ a GP exam targeted at your concern. You have not even mentioned your BMI or history around weight issues. Those will matter. Take this step-by-step and you'll find answers much better than eating 'more'. It may involve eating more of certain things - calories alone are not always the best way to measure intake. Best!

Simple math: You cannot lose weight if you are consuming fewer calories than you are burning. Eat three small meals leaving table satisfied but not stuffed. No snacks, no sugar containing drinks, minimize alcohol and increase amount of aerobic exercise. Have your thyroid function tested by your PCP. Good luck and be skinny.
