The more: severe the endometriosis, the more likely it will be seen on ultrasound. However, in mild cases, the ultrasound may be normal.

I had a Transvaginal ultrasound which showed fluid in the right adnexa. This test was done while on my cycle. One week later retested and it shows no fluid but a paraovarian cyst. Could this be a sign of endometriosis?

Hello! I had a pelvic ultrasound (non transvaginal) and it showed a cyst on my right ovary of 4 cm. Are pelvic ultrasounds sufficient enough to show ovarian cysts without transvaginal? I turned the vaginal one. Doc wants to monitor cyst?
