How does an ovarian cyst look in a transvaginal ultrasound?

Cysts,: When simple, are internally dark on ultrasound as the fluid reflects few of the sound waves. In essence, a smooth, round, black or dark, structure in the ovary is seen. Also, no internal blood flow on doppler.
