diagnosed with peroneal tendon subluxation now experiencing so much pain & popping from playing basketball do you think i tore it? surgery is tuesday

Probably not: You could have torn it, but it is probably more likely that your symptoms are from your peroneal subluxation, which can cause the tendons to snap and pop as the ankle is put through various movements. Hopefully the surgery will take care of it.
