Peroneal subluxation: Although there are risks with any surgery, peroneal subluxation surgery is very risky in my opinion. Usually l, the groove on the distal portion of the fibula is just deepened by burring it down and the ligaments are strengthened to keep the peroneal tendons in the groove.
