Calcium issue: Calcium from milk or milk products can decrease iron absorption. Therefore any foods or vitamins with iron will have decreased absorption of iron if given with milk or milk products. Wait half hour either before or after iron containing foods are given to benefit from iron. (By the way, milk should be the drink of choice rather than tea)
