A member asked:

A small green tea (black) and a small 1 milk from tim hortons is what i had today. is that to much caffeine for one day? and will i gain weight?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not on weight: A small tea has a very small amount of caffeine, usually less than 50 mg, and milk doesn't have any caffeine. This is not a large amount of caffeine. There are people who think that we should have no caffeine ever, at all. There is no scientific basis for that. Small amounts of caffeine do not appear to be harmful. The huge doses being hawked in 5 hour energy etc. May be harmful to some people.
