A member asked:

I give my infant 4 drops of iron supplement and 2 drops of vitamin d , is it better after or before meal (milk) ?

Wait: Iron should not be taken within 30 to 45 minutes after a milk feed, as the calcium decreases iron absorption. No problem with vitamin d.

Iron;milk together: It is best to administer iron supplements and milk at different times. Vitamin d on the other hand is best administered with milk.
