Oral candidiasis: Thrush, an uncommon occurrence in normal adults should warrant testing immune function & HIV. If thrush is caused by something reversible (antibiotics, smoking, ill-fitting dentures, steroids or diabetes), these factors must be corrected as part of the treatment. You might try rinsing with 3% hydrogen peroxide. Don't know what you mean by being sensitive to ketoconazole. Clarify and re-ask.
