This is not normal. : Pain after an epidural injection can last a few days. Severe pain is abnormal especially if it continues for days. You should be seen by your doctor to evaluate for serious complications.

Pain is never normal: Are you seeing a fellowship-trained spinal specialist? It sounds like a good time to make an appointment and find out what's going on. It sounds like you have a spinal nerve root that is being impinged, causing the paralyzing symptoms. Take care.
