Not likely: Insurance might pay for a "panniculectomy", which is the simple excision of a large hanging apron of skin, but in 15 years of practice, I have never yet seen them approve a cosmetic tummy tuck, including muscle repair, lifting of the lower and upper abdominal flap and creation of a nice, tidy belly button.

No.: A tummy tuck is considered a cosmetic procedure that is not covered by medicaid. If a patient has a huge pannus of hanging skin that interferes wit h hygiene, removal of this can be covered in certain cases.
