Usually not unless:: Fecal Calprotectin is a useful measure of inflammation of the colon. If antibiotics have caused pseudomembranous colitis (an infection with Clostridia dificile) that can cause elevated Calprotectin. Otherwise antibiotics are not known to affect Calprotectin levels.
