Salty taste causes: First you must differentiate salty and metallic taste. If more metallic, then mouth bleeding or medication side effects should be considered. Most salty taste due to dehydration so try hydrating if so. Otherwise, consider postnasal drip, and some rarer causes like smoking, sjogrens disease, MS, and even mild stroke. You are best off consulting with your regular doctor but I hope you feel better;)
