I have a sinus infection that is getting worse with time. i have copd stage 4 and have to sleep with a machine that forces air down my nose while i sleep to keep the carbon dioxide levels down and now i am coughing up thick green mucus?

Bacterial sinus infections need antibiotics for longer than an upper airway or lower airway infection so. You will likely need antibiotics and aggressive antiinflammatory fo lungs/sinus (like steroids) to improve, otherwise you could need hospitalization to make sure your oxygen and carbon dioxide to not decompensate.
