It depends: Diagnosis of Poly cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is not dependent on just one random blood sugar reading. Physician send out for thyroid function tests, prolactin levels and free testosterone levels. It is true that glucose levels can also be used but this is when the patient has been fasting. Have your periods stop coming? If so I would recommend you speak to your physician for help.

PCOS c/w ↑ed glucose: over time, along with low fat, high carb foods, metabolic syndrome, etc. not a spot check value which is "normal" (i.e. common, usual; yet no necessary relation with optimal). Optimal glucose = av. of ALL glucose values
