Possibly: At age 22, the chest pain you are describing sounds like pleuritis, pericarditis and/or pleuropericarditis. Ibuprofen will help either but you should have at least a Chest X ray and EKG to define it better and have a baseline in case it happens again

A couple weeks ago my husband starting having a pain in the front of his ribs, top left side. Progressively over the past 3 weeks the pain has gotten worse and has now wrapped around to his back. Hi. I was diagnosed with mild pericarditis in February. I take Colchicine and Ibuprofen and still have stabbing chest pain. LDL: 115, Non-HDL Cholesterol : 133, Hs-CRP: 9, Apo B : 105, Apo B/A1 ratio: 0.83 and IgE: 519. What might be the cause?
