Most counties or: cities have access and crisis lines, or clinics, which are good places to call to find out what resources are available. Local Public Assistance offices are also good for accessing free or low, low cost services, including cash grants and/or food stamps, if needed. The local professional societies (psychological associations, etc.) have referral sources. Have you tried 211? 311?
