May take together.: In most patients, these two meds are safe together. Patients with a history of seizures, head trauma, or elderly patients may be at an increased risk for seizures while taking both of these medications. It is best to avoid alcohol while taking these medications as it can also increase your risk of seizures, particularly if you have any of the conditions mentioned before.
