Can Work Well: Like any medical/dental procedure, it can work well if it's done for the right case, by the right person, in the right way. Since this is a fairly new procedure, we don't have any long-term studies, but initial results are quite good...as long as the diagnosis is correct and the treatment is done properly. An experienced dentist has the highest chances of success for you. Good luck.

Pinhole technique: Like any other dental procedure, there are treatment guidelines. Success depends on 1) Your diagnostic findings falling within the guidelines, 2) Your overall General Health, 3) Your overall Dental Health, 4) The medications and OTC's that you take, 5) Your diet, and 6) Most of all, the training/skill/experience of the practitioner. Seek examination by a Specialist Periodontist.
