Normal: Some discomfort is, of course, to be expected after any kind of surgery. Your surgeon should have given you advice on how to deal with it, and perhaps some prescriptions. Most of the discomfort should disappear after about 24 hours. Just be sure to keep away from the surgical site for at least a week, or preferably, until the sutures are removed.
