Depends on bone loss: When hardware is removed from bone there is a "hole" or deficit of bone. Depending on the size and quantity of harware this deficit could be significant and require Non Weight Bearing status for the bone to fill in and regain its strength. Check with your surgeon for post op WB instructions.
