Depends on reason...: That the screws were placed. If they were placed to aid in the healing of a ligament it may take 12 weeks or more before your can progress to activity. Hard ware placed to aid in proper bone healing usually delay activity for a shorter time, typically around 6 weeks. These estimates are variable and depend on the location and character of the injury. Check with your orthopaedic surgeon.
