Not likely: Sebaceous cysts form out of your sebaceous gland—which produces the oil called sebum that coats your hair and skin. They form if the gland or its duct from which oil is able to leave, becomes damaged or blocked. This usually occurs due to trauma. It is not known to be associated with anxiety.
